

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 51 years, William Ollie Giles, Sr, sisters, Rozella Waller Simpson, Lula Faye Waller Steele, Flora Dee Waller Ratcliff, Frances Doris Waller Cagle, Lois Marie Seratto; brothers, John Lewis Waller, Homer Clifford Waller and Franklin Delano Waller. Also, preceding her in death; a grandson, Micah Worthington Giles.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Caroline Giles Mixon (Dr. J.D. Mixon) of Flowery Branch, GA, and sons William Ollie Giles, Jr. of Montgomery, AL, John Waller Giles (Deborah Woodley Giles) of Luverne, AL, Ted Wynn Giles (Donna Byrd Giles) of Birmingham, AL. She is survived by a sister Walzy Jeanne Waller Holt of Conway, AR. Precious to her were her grandchildren: William Ollie Giles, III (Monica Duke Giles) of Guntersville, AL, Dr. Mary Heather Perry McGee (Kenneth Ross McGee) of Flowery Branch, GA, Allison Elizabeth Giles Lefeve (John Eric Lefeve) of Guntersville, AL, Zaviera Mendenhall Giles George ( David William George ) of Montgomery, AL, Cpt. Stephen Chadwick Giles (Melisa Dawn Quattlebaum Giles) of Prattville, AL, and Ted Wynn Giles, Jr of Portland, OR. Even more enchanting to her were her great grandchildren : William Ollie Giles,IV ,Carter Lewis Giles and Georgia Grace Giles of Guntersville, AL; William Ross McGee and step grand Owen Reid McGee of Flowery Branch, GA; Kendall Grace George, Rebekah Faith George, Elizabeth Hope George, Deborah Joy George, Seth David George, Anna Mercy George, Luke Stephen George and Oliver Simon George of Montgomery, AL; John Regan Lefeve, Ellie Elizabeth Lefeve and Davis Giles Lefeve of Guntersville, AL; Victoria Elaine Giles, Felicity Marie Giles, Carolina Bell Giles of Prattville, AL.
Her church home for many years was Frazer Memorial Methodist Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Eastern Star, and the RedHatters. She was adored by her nieces, nephews, and grands of the next generation and remembered as "Aunt Billie".
During WWII, she enlisted in the Women's Marine Corps, instilling patriotism to her offspring all her life.
A co-founder of Giles Enterprises, Inc., many Patrons still enjoy her fried chicken recipe all over the world.
