

Mary Louise Davis was born December 5, 1944, to the late Jeremiah Milner, Sr. and Irene J. Milner in Wetumpka, Alabama. At an early age she confessed Christ as her Savior, and joined the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama.
Mary graduated high school in 1963 from W.B. Doby High School, Wetumpka, Alabama. Upon completion of high school, Mary traveled north to Washington, D.C., where she met and married the love of her life, Joseph K. Davis. From there, they settled in Maryland and enjoyed 44 years of marital bliss.
Mary was employed at Georgetown University Marriott Operations as a Sales Hospitality Servant for many years and retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, and her husband. She leaves to cherish her memories: one stepson, Joseph K. Davis, Jr. (North Carolina), one stepdaughter, Verna Mills (Virginia), one brother Rev. Christopher (Juanita) Milner (Montgomery, AL), two sisters, Gwendolyn (Fernando) Miliner (Lawrenceville, GA), and her devoted sister and caregiver, Vickie M. Hall (Montgomery, AL).
One goddaughter, Jeremia Milner (Montgomery, AL). Devoted nieces and caregivers: Colenthia (David) Wright, Marnekia (Terrence) Sankey, Michele Copeland, and Alisha Milner. One loving and devoted nephew and caregiver, Lavaris Hall (Montgomery, AL). Five loving sisters-in-law, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 1:00 pm with Bishop Tony Peoples officiating.
