Melody knew how to light up a room with her bright smile and love for Jesus. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. She prayed multiple times a day for her friends and her family in need. She had a servant’s heart and was dedicated to helping those in need in any way she could. She attended Church of the Highlands as often as she could with her best friend, Denise Gordon. She was passionate about animals and cared for them like they were her own. She loved spending her free time watching religious tv programs, taking trips to Orange Beach, Lake Mitchell, and winding down with jazz music, and every now and then a little rock and roll.
She graduated from Jones Law School with an associate’s degree in court reporting. She served as an official court reporter for Judge Charles Price for many years until her retirement in 2001.
