Patricia was a Medical Army Reserve retiree, devoted ER and ICU nurse for 30 years, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a very kind, generous, loving, and a spiritual individual. Any person she met in life was never seen as a stranger by her.
She loved to travel, including internationally. Her other favored hobbies were crossword puzzles and watching the Wheel of Fortune. Patricia was also an avid tennis fan, whether it be practicing her own skills or watching major tennis championships. Another major love of hers was tending to her garden and plants. Some of her favorite flowers were daisies and gardenias. She cherished her family dearly.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Garnet Turner; children, Mark Chance and Adrianne Adair Dugan and husband John Dugan; and one grandson, Grayson Eaves.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clifton Homer Gilley; mother, Jewel Clementine Gilley; 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.
