Patrick Logan Anthony

Patrick Anthony was born on December 31, 1971. He graduated from Baker High School in Mobile, AL in 1990. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army and The Gulf War. He retired as an E-4 Specialist in 1993.

His love for hunting, fishing and being outdoors was known by all. He took pride in teaching his children, nephews and other youth how to hunt. Patrick also spent his time on the baseball field growing up playing the game then went on to coach his sons and many of their friends.

Patrick is survived by his sons, Sergeant Cory Patrick Anthony, U.S. Army; Fireman Tyler Jacob (TJ) Anthony, U.S. Coast Guard; sisters, Mellisa Anthony Herrera (Ben), Lake Charles, LA; Laura Anthony Owens (Jacob), Mobile, AL; mother, Carole Daniel (Anthony), Montgomery, AL; four nieces and nephews who he adored; loving girlfriend, Amy Barnett, Wetumpka, AL; and his loyal service dogs, Abby and Possum.

Patrick was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Austin Anthony; sister, Rachel Irene Anthony; father, Herbert Logan Anthony, II (Tony).

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday December 14, 2023, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home & Cemetery. His uncle Steven Anthony will officiate. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to PTSD Foundation of America in support of Veterans suffering from PTSD.
