Ron retired from the United States Army after 25 years of service, having served in both Korea and Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn McCall McCaul, and a sister, Bernice Lewis. He is survived by six children, Peggy McCaul-Ames, Beth Ivey, Randy McCaul, Merry Henry, Darryl McCaul (Jesalyn) and Ronda McCaul Walker (Jason); two brothers, Hugh McCaul and Bobby McCaul; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service with full military honors in Alabama Heritage Cemetery with Pastor Jeff McFarland officiating.
