Tuyet Nguyen Mac

Mrs. Tuyet (meaning “snow”) Nguyen Mac, 77 years old, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 15, 2018 at 8:45 p.m. Tuyet was a beautiful wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to loving and nurturing everyone around her, and she always put others and her family ahead of herself. She was extremely kind, caring and compassionate and she met everyone with radiating warmth and kindness. Tuyet was born in Vietnam on April 27, 1940. After the family fled from Vietnam in 1975, she found her home in Montgomery and was sponsored and became a member of First United Methodist Church of Montgomery. Her legacy will continue to live on through her husband of 57 years, Cau Manh Mac; her sister, Van Nam Nguyen in Vietnam; her five children, Tina (Stephen) McDaniel, Gwen (Oanh) Tran, Tom Mac (Helen), Becky (Lam) Do and Nancy (Jason) Brown; her 12 grandchildren, Andre, Dustin, Taylor, Kevin, Cory, Justin, Ethan, Katie, Priscilla, Kenzie, Hannah and Drew. Her warm, loving nature and her beautiful, sweet smile will always be with us. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage on Saturday from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m.
