Heffington, Wanda Wells, a resident of Fitzpatrick, AL died on January 26, 2013 in Union Springs, AL. She was born in Canute, OK on December 20, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ray Heffington; parents, George and Della Wells of OK and three brothers, Hayden Wells of Coffeyville, KS, Harold Wells of Watonga, OK and Howard Wells of Brownstown, IL. She is survived by a daughter, Louise Heffington (Jerry) Cooper of El Paso, TX; their three children, Janet Cooper (Bob) McNicol of Albuquerque, NM, Judy Cooper (Kevin) Bracknell of Little Rock, AR, and Jeffery Cooper of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Bradley McNicol and Joshua (Nikki) McNicol and great-great grandchildren, Jason and Joell all of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by another daughter, Connie Heffington Jones and her husband, Donald R. Jones, Sr. of Fitzpatrick,

AL; their two sons, Donald R. Jones, Jr. of Montgomery, AL and Mark Alan (Jennifer) Jones of Raleigh, NC; three great-grandchildren, Rush Jones, III of Montgomery, Ben Jones and Evelyn Jones of Raleigh, NC. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 31 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Alabama Heritage Cemetery with visitation at the funeral home from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
