Zachary Ryan Cosby

A combined graveside service will be held for Zachary and his stepfather, Jeffrey Vinzant, who passed away July 28, 2020. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 25, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Zac was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Cosby; stepfather, Jeffrey Pat Vinzant; maternal grandfather, John Jordan; paternal grandparents, Bob and Lucille Cosby; and step grandfather, Pat Vinzant. He also was preceded in death by his Aunt Harriet and Uncle Kenny Cosby; Aunt Connie Stinnette, Uncle Ken Earl and by cousin, Daniel Chastain.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Jordan Cosby Vinzant; maternal grandmother, Greta Jordan; step grandmother, Leona Vinzant; aunts and uncles Richard and Judy Jordan, cousins Kerry Wilson and Jonathan Jordan and their families; Barbara and Donald Flack, cousins Sara Corbin and Jessie Patrick and their families; Bob Stinnette, cousin Lisa Brown and her family; Theresa Earl, cousin Tabitha Reynolds and her family; Melissa Alexander, cousins Michael, Tim, Ted and Beth Chastain and their families; Todd and Pam Cosby, cousin Rena Jeffcoat and her family; and cousins Denise Baker, Barbara Cosby, Kim Brumbeloe and their families. He is also survived by step aunts and uncles, Joni and Andy Parvin, cousin Allie Parvin; Cyndi and Ken Ford and Kristi and Jimmy Stewart, cousins Aubrey Stewart and Aaron Stewart.

Although challenged with lifelong health issues, Zachary had a full life of adventures with love and support from family, friends, and community.
