

Aaron was known as "Brud" to his family and "DJ Cajun Blood" to his many friends. Aaron was a hard-working man who loved his wife very much. Aaron loved music and was a self-taught musician. He also loved being on the water. Aaron loved his family and was always there to help when he was needed. Aaron loved attending family reunions. "Uncle Aaron" was a "hero" to his nieces and nephews. They will all miss him dearly.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 36 years, Valarie Aucoin Hebert; his father, Clarence Aucoin and wife Jacqueline of Amelia; sisters, Sharel Hebert and Karel Landry of Lake Charles, Janet Kinkle, Nadine Picou, Jeanie Kennedy, and Wendy Clayton of Morgan City; step-father, Aaron Hebert, Sr. of Morgan City;sisters-in-law Inez Hudson and Leona Aucoin Pellegrin of Morgan City and brothers-in-law, Bobby Jones of Patterson and Dany Armstrong of Portland, Oregon.
Aaron is preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Aucoin Daigle, father and mother-in-law Roy and Dot Aucoin, nephew, L.J. Suire, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Services will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with military honors being rendered by the East St. Mary Veteran's Funeral Squad at 1:45pm. Aaron's wishes were to be cremated. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at MC Bank in the name of Valarie Hebert.to alleviate funeral expenses.
