Anna Mae Plessala

She was a member of the Morgan City VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4222 since 1965 and held several elected offices in that organization.

Visitation will be observed Wednesday, March 27th, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City, to be followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Morgan City cemetery immediately following the mass.

Mrs. Plessala is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley "Sonny" Plessala, Jr. and Liz Plessala of Mobile, Alabama; one brother and sister-in-law, Sidney "Junior" Solar, Jr. and Ruby Solar, of Morgan City; two half-sisters, Earline Solar Aucoin of Morgan City, and Patsy Solar Connor of Labadieville, La.; two grandsons and their spouses, Kevin J. Plessala and Denise M. Plessala of Harahan, La., and Doctor Kirby J. Plessala and Doctor Deneen T. Plessala of Mobile, Alabama; and six great-grandchildren, Catherine, Kirby-Anne, Michael, Bennett, Connor, and Peyton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Plessala, Sr., her parents, Sidney J. Solar, Sr. and Pearl Gussman Solar, and by her step-mother Edmae Aucoin Solar.
