She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dewilder “D.D.” Solar; 3 children, Brooke Solar, Casey Solar (Jessica), and Jeremy “J.J.” Solar; 2 grandchildren, Bryce and Bella Solar; 2 siblings, Elizabeth Brandenburg (Dale) and Avery Verrett; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilton Verrett Sr. and Beatrice Verrett; and brother, Buddy Verrett.
She loved life, her family, camping, her dogs, and having a good time. Her grandkids were her babies and her life.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM on Friday, October 8 at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Burial to follow at Morgan City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Chad Vaughn, Tylor Vinet, Chris and Donovan Soileau, Ethan and Jared Verrett, and Korey Tezeno.
