Ethel Cecile Lee

April 7, 1932 – August 23, 2010

Ethel Cecile Lee, 78, a native of Amelia and a resident of Franklin, Louisiana passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at Patterson Health Care in Patterson, Louisiana.

Ethel enjoyed her family and making a wonderful home for her husband and sons. She was a master at cookie baking and is well remembered for her special holiday efforts. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards with her friends, attending her church and an occasional outing to the casino. She was married to the love of her life, Irving Joseph Lee, for 61 years at the time of his death in 2009. She was the mother of four sons; Ronald Joseph Lee and his wife Nancy of Marrero, LA, Larry Paul Lee and his wife Pat of Tampa, FL, Gary Anthony Lee and his wife Mary of Conroe, TX, and Arthur James Lee and his wife Debbie of St. Cloud, Fl; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters Inez Webre and Celina Lacoste.

Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Irving Joseph Lee; and her parents George and Euphime Dempsey Babin.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 9:00 A.M. until Service time at 11:00 A.M. at Hargrave Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Ibert’s Memorial Park in Patterson.
