In her nearly 99 years, she shared the ministry of Jesus Christ to all she met. If you didn’t know her personally, you probably heard about her. There is no way to measure the vastness of Sister Toot’s life. We can all rest assured that God has kept a record of the life lived only to honor her Lord. Mere words are inadequate to describe or explain Sister Toot, her actions, dedication; her love for everyone spoke louder than any description. Sister Toot has been involved in many ministries. She founded “Church of The Open Air” on Chartres St., New Orleans. Her home and church, Twin City Gospel Temple, which were always open to all in need of prayer, money, food, guidance, counseling, hospital or nursing home visiting , street corner preaching and prison ministry. Sister Toot led many to Jesus, established churches in Haiti, India, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and here in the USA.
