Lynn Peter Falgout Sr.

After graduating high school, Lynn enlisted in the United States Army. It was there he received numerous medals for serving in the Vietnam War. Two medals he was most proud of were The Army Commendation Medal for heroism in the Republic of Vietnam and the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in the Republic of Vietnam. He was a Vietnam Combat Engineer and Sergeant who fearlessly and faithfully served our great Nation.

He leaves to cherish his legacy to his loving wife of 52 years, Ellary Lirette Falgout; daughters, Sandy Ackman and her husband, Thomas Ackman, Jr., Tina Falgout-Rebardi and her husband Wayne Rebardi Jr. and his son, Lynn Falgout, Jr. He also leaves behind 8 siblings, Sharon Joubert, Timothy Falgout, Carolyn Wenzel, Kevin Falgout, Greta Trosclair, Connie Ledet, Jeffrey Falgout and Kitty Poirrier; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Those awaiting his arrival in heaven are his parents and 2 brothers, Francis and Patrick Falgout.

Family and friends of Lynn are invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Bayou L’Ourse Baptist Church, 1141 Hwy 662, Morgan City, LA from 9:00am to 11:00am with Funeral Services immediately following. The interment will be private.
