Mario enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, making new friends, and so much more. This is a moment of great grief and sadness for many that was in his life. We must remember Mario as he was. He always wanted the people around him to be happy, even if it meant for him to go well out of his way to see a smile on someone’s face. He was a man that made certain that when you were visiting him, that you wouldn’t leave his house hungry. He always looked out for other people more so than he looked out for himself. That’s the code he lived by, if others were well fed and happy, he was happy.
He will be sadly missed by those he left behind; his children, Monique Elliott, her son David Elliott III, Mario John Gross Jr, his son Jayce Gross, step children, Peyton Scully, Bryson Scully, and Spouse Loni Vining. He is also survived by Chris Ledet, Cheryl Marcel and her husband Christian, Cindy Ledet, Craig Ledet, Candy Plessala Simmons, Tommy Donati, Honey Donati, Cherry Donati.
Mario will be greeted in heaven by his Mother, Gladdis Guillotte, Step-father Dudley Guillotte Jr, sisters; Clara Lee Cowan and Faye Guillotte. He was joined in passing by his beloved best friend, his dog Baby Girl. People often wonder an animal’s attachment to their owners, and what effects one’s passing has on them. In this case, she wanted to join Mario so that she could walk with him through those pearly gates of heaven by his side. Every time Mario was seen, he had Baby Girl with him, as he does now. He wouldn’t want it any other way.
