

Cheyenne was born January 3, 1940 in Patterson to the late Roger Dreyer Sr. and the late Louise Comeaux Dreyer. He retired from the City of Morgan City with 40 faithful years of service. He and his wife were members of Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where he volunteered his time for any needs of the church. Outside of his work, he found relaxation and peace in cutting his grass and picking up aluminum cans for recycle, and visiting with his nieces and nephews whom he looked as his own children.
Survivors include his sister, Daisy LeBlanc and her children, Larry, Dale, Darryl and Donna (and their families), his brother, Larry Dreyer and his children, Susan Romero (Ronnie) and Daniel Dreyer (Shondell); his great nieces, Kristin Aucoin (his Godchild), Bailey Dreyer; great nephews, Michael Aucoin (Megan), Blake and Brett Dreyer; his great nieces and nephews that he considered his grandchildren, Abby, Paige, Jayce, Graycee, Rowan, Cody, Lyndi and Bryleigh; and his dear friend Maria, who assisted he and Hazel for many years.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Hazel Comeaux Dreyer, and his brothers, Roger Dreyer, Jr. and Adolph Dreyer (his twin).
Funeral services celebrating Randolph's life will be held 11:00 am Thursday August 20, 2020 at Pharr Chapel Methodist Church. Following services, he will be laid to rest alongside his wife at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Patterson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church from 8:00 am until time of services at 11:00am with Reverend Ann Sutton officiating the services.
Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Romero, Michael Aucoin, Daniel, Blake and Brett Dreyer and Dennis Gilmore. Jayce Bailey will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cheyenne's name to Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church.
In accordance with government mandate regarding restrictive gatherings, the church can accommodate 50 guests during visitation and services. Guests are required to wear masks upon entry of the church and are encouraged to practice social distancing.
