Richard Dupuy, a man who knew no enemies and possessed the kindest of hearts, has passed away. He was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of all who knew him. Richard's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the simple joys of life.
Born with an innate love for music, Richard became a professional musician renowned for his skillful guitar picking. His melodies filled many hearts with joy, and his passion for music was evident in every note he played. Beyond his musical talents, Richard was a storyteller extraordinaire. He had an infectious sense of humor and loved sharing jokes and funny stories from his life, bringing laughter to those around him.
Richard was also an avid fisherman who found peace and contentment by the water, casting his line and waiting patiently for the day's catch. His love for fishing was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with nature and find serenity.
A devoted provider, Richard worked tirelessly throughout his life to ensure the well-being of his family. His dedication and perseverance were evident in every endeavor he undertook, and his family always came first. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering commitment to those he cherished most.

The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed for Richard on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of services which will begin promptly at 1:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery. Brother Tommy Davis will preside over the services.
