Robert ‘Bobby’ Lee LaCombe, 70, a native of Evangeline and a resident of Morgan City for the past 35 years, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his home.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice Pike LaCombe; his two sons, Gilbert LaCombe and his wife, Connie, of Morgan City, John LaCombe and his wife, Michele, of Morgan City; his daughter, Danielle L. Verrett and her husband, Adam, of Stephensville; five grandsons, Gilbert LaCombe Jr., Jonathan LaCombe, Darren Verrett, Brett LaCombe, Aaron Verrett; two granddaughters, Kassi LaCombe Jones and her husband, Ivan III, and Halli LaCombe; one great granddaughters, Stella Jones; one sister, Florence Huval and her husband, Russell, of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Wilbert LaCombe and his wife, Doris, of Carencro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Ezola LaCombe; one granddaughter, Brooke LaCombe; two brothers, J.B. LaCombe and Henry LaCombe; two sisters, Bea Johnson and Marie LaCombe.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 from 1pm to 4pm at his residence, of 1101 Chestnut Drive in Morgan City, with prayer services taking place at 2:30pm for family and friends.
