Roger Noel Sons

Born and raised in Louisiana, Roger was a dedicated and hard working individual who was also fun-loving. He knew to live for each moment...always ensuring he did so his way. He had many loves in life, such as being out in the bayous or playing music. With a good heart, Roger always had a way of putting people at ease with his emotional warmth and insightful deep thinking.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Rogena Hartley and her husband, Ricky; his two grandchildren, Hannah Thi Irene Hartley and her fiancé, Justin Alleman, and Khairick Noel Lai Hartley; his one great grandchild, Evangeline Irene Alleman; a 'daughter' who he cherished like his own, Natasha Bartlett and her husband, Jessie Edwards; and three nieces, Laurie Prejean and her husband, Chad, Kimberly Norwood and her husband, Justin, and Karen Thibodeaux and her husband, Starsky.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Noel and Irene Lodrigue Sons and one brother, Bradley Sons.

The family requests that a time of visitation be observed for Roger on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 9am until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home. A celebration of Roger's life will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 12noon at Hargrave Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
