Sheila was the foundation of the family; she was generous with her time and her resources to anyone who needed it. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back. She put the needs of others above her own and she was someone you could count on for honesty. She had a youthful spirit and had a great sense of humor. She coached youth softball and played practical jokes on her kids. She was very supportive and very proud of her kids and grandkids. She would often use inflammatory words to describe her loved ones- they were always the “best” or “smartest” or the “most beautiful”. She loved kids and drove a school bus before running businesses with her husband. As she got older and less active, she enjoyed sharing meals and listening to stories from her grandkids but most of all she loved spending time with her husband, “Big Ricky”. They spent all of their time together and after his death in February, it didn’t take long for her to die of a broken heart.
The family will celebrate her life privately, ask that you remember her in prayer and don’t forget to call your momma.
