A memorial visitation will be held on January 15, 2022, from 9am until 1pm, with services taking place at 12noon, at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
Bill was born on October 3, 1957 to Clyde and Ruby Daugherty; he loved working on cars, electronics and fishing; as well as spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth Sanders Daugherty of Patterson; half sister Renee Pierre and husband Steven of Lafitte La.; step-sister Peggy Miller and husband, Peter of New Orleans; and a host of nieces and nephews. Bill is also survived by his god-children, Violet, Thomas Streetman, Anita Lewis, Amberly Farristall, Ethan Polk, Naveh and Jason Sanders.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ruby Daugherty; sister, Sherry Ohmer; four brothers, Donnie, David, Richard Daugherty and Meredith Calloway.
