Roy worked for many years as an electrical engineer for Consumers Energy. He spent many wonderful years with his life partner, Rose Hendrix, until her passing in 2014. Roy was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed reading. Roy will be dearly missed.
Roy was preceded in death by: parents, Arnold Sr. and Veryle Wemple; daughter, Angela Wemple; life partner, Rose Hendrix; brothers, Mark, Kevin, and Rodney Wemple; and brother-in-law, Jerry Marshall.
Roy is survived by: children, Chandra (Matt) Pifer, and Matt (Leeann) Wemple; grandchildren, Samson Pifer, Emmalyn Pifer, Harrison Wemple, Oliver Wemple, and Lincoln Wemple; sister, Vicki Marshall; and brother, Scott Wemple.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11am to 12pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport, Michigan.
