Barbara Joyce Travis, age 63, passed away at her daughters home after a longtime illness, under the loving care of her family and Harbor Hospice, on June 28, 2012. Barbara is survived by her husband David; two children, Janelle M. (Buzz Wallis) Travis, and James A. (Krisie) Travis; grandchildren, Autumn M. Travis and Christopher M. Travis; siblings, Kenneth Dale Linger, George Anthony Burian and Jeanette Bates, along with many nieces, nephews, and counsins. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Frank Linger, her mother, Myrtle Burian and step-father, George A. Burian Sr. Barbara was a member of the Church of Christ, and owner operator of Brick Haven Adult Foster Care. A graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Travis Family in care of David Travis or Janelle Travis.
