Brian was a lifelong resident of Muskegon. He retired from Meijer after 50 years of dedicated hard work. He was a loving father and loved spending time with his family. Brian was a quiet and caring man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Brian was preceded in death by: his parents, Harold and Virginia Gill; sister, Mary Gill; and life partner, Janice Close.
Brian is survived by: children, Frances (Noah Hopson) Close, Matthew Close, and Danielle Close; granddaughter, Amelia; and siblings, Bruce (Bonnie) Gill, and Sister Ann Gill.
In accordance with Brian's wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
