Carl married his love, Marilyn, in 1951 and the pair spent 70 wonderful years together, until her passing in 2021. Carl was a hard worker and always did what he could to support his family. In his free time, he enjoyed working on old tractors - or anything with an engine, going on long roads trips, and vacationing out west. Carl was a devoted family man, and his family was his entire world. He was a sweet man who would always lend a helping hand. His absence will be felt by many and he will be dearly missed.
Carl was preceded in death by: wife, Marilyn Hodgson; son, David Hodgson; and granddaughter, Sandy.
Carl is survived by: daughters, Carla (Mike) Wallis, and Kim (Dennis) Slezak; grandchildren, Gary Hodgson, Kelly Johnson, Amy (Jerry) Parker, Mike Hodgson, Jodie (Rob) Schmidt, and Jamie (Rob) Thompson; as well as, many extended family members and close friends.
In accordance with Carl's wishes, cremation will take place and there are no services being planned at this time.
