Dan was born on December 18, 1949. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate. He was very proud of his time in the military. After his time in the service, he worked as a fabricator for the majority of his career. Dan was a lifetime member of VFW post 3256 and the American Legion Post 69 in Whitehall. He was raised in the Lakeside area and enjoyed welding, building, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, working in his shop, and woodworking. He was a caring man who was always willing to lend a hand. He had a tough shell with a soft inside. He will be deeply missed.
