Daniel H. Medendorp passed away on September 25, 2020, in his Muskegon Township home. He was born April 9, 1941 in Muskegon, Michigan to Harold and Violet (Verhulst) Medendorp. He married his wife, Barbara Jane Medendorp on July 31, 1971 in Muskegon. Daniel loved hunting, reading, collecting history records, the outdoors, and talking to his neighbors, Jerry and Cathy.
Daniel is survived and remembered by his children, Toni Stickle and Rick Medendorp, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers, Glenn (Rita) Medendorp and Lewis Medendorp, sister, Laurel Clivecooper, siblings-in-law, Wilma Seidl, Marilyn Meinders, Tony (Ellie) Meinders, and LeRoy Meinders.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Medendorp, parents, Harold and Violet (Verhulst) Medendorp, Parents-in-law, Anthony and Zoa (Wessel) Meinders, grandparents, Elner and Ellen Rohde, siblings-in-law, Lurena (Bill) Hodgins, Frank (Marilyn) Meinders, and Bob (Sally) Meinders. And survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation with the family will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11am at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E Keating Ave, 49442. Burial will take place at a later date at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 2188 Remembrance Dr, 49442.
