David I. Baun, age 75, passed away Saturday evening, July 20, 2013 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by loved ones. David was born May 14, 1938 to James and Martha Baun in Punxsutawney, PA. He moved to Muskegon, MI in 1945. He was an industrial painter, and since retiring, he like to spend the winter in Okeecheobee, FL fishing. He married Patsy Gage on August 29, 1959. She survives him along with four children: Randy Baun, Lyn (Matt) Humphrey, Richard Baun, David (Pam) Baun; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters: Nancy Rollenhagen and Linda Baun; brother, Jack (Elaine) Baun. David was preceded in death by his parents James and Martha Baun; stepmother, Leoda Baun. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of David’s life will take place during a luncheon at the Baun residence on Thursday, July 25, at 1:00pm.
