Douglas "Doug" Dewayne Boucher, age 50 of Muskegon, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was born on May 29, 1965 in Muskegon to Therman and Gloria Boucher. Doug was a lifetime fan of auto racing. He preferred dirt track, but did enjoy asphalt (NASCAR) as well. His favorite driver of NASCAR was Jeff Gordan #24. Doug really didn't have a favorite dirt track driver, but loved being at Winton Speedway every weekend. Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Doug had 3 dogs, of which he enjoyed very much. Doug is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his girlfriend of 9 years, Stacy Dagan; his siblings, Karen (Ernie) Dutcher, and Therman (Rose) Boucher; and many other family members and friends. Graveside services were held on June 5, 2015 at 2:30pm at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, where engines roared to see Doug Home. A memorial luncheon for Doug will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1pm at the Fruitport Eagles. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Doug's family.
