

Harry Lee Davis, lovingly known as Sonny and Homer, 75, of Holton, MI passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by his family, on March 4, 2026. Harry was born in White Cloud, MI to Earl and Maurine Davis on September 6, 1950.
Harry was born in Michigan, but grew up in California, Colorado, and Florida. After High School Harry went on to join the United States Army and proudly served his country for several years. He went on to hold several jobs as a machinist until his retirement. He married the love of his life, Pamela, and the couple spent 54 wonderful years together. Together they created a home of love and laughter. In his free time, Harry loved to go fishing, ride his motorcycle, read Louis L’Amour books, and indulge in a peanut-butter milkshake. He was a loving father, and a doting grandfather. He was often roped into driving everyone around – especially his grandchildren. Harry was a big jokester and always knew how to make others smile. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Harry is survived by: wife, Pamela Davis; children, Bonnie Davis, Thomas Murphy, Jeff (Karen) Murphy, Krishauna (Brandon) Lebrun, Terri (Ron) Davis-Legg, Kitty (David) Austin, and Tammy Davis; 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat LeBall and Nancy (Eric) Dykes; brothers-in-law, Dale (Babs), Mike (Diane), Roger (Jan), Gary, and John; as well as many other extended family members and close friends.
Harry was preceded in death by: parents, Earl and Maurine Davis; all of his brothers and sisters;nephews, Derck Murphy, Nathan Dykes, and Tyler Bennett; and brother-in-law, Dennis.
In accordance with Harry’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 21st at the American Legion in Whitehall, 803 E. Colby St.
