Helen was born July 18, 1945 the daughter of Virgil and Loretta (Hobbs) Goodman. She married Wallace Johnson in 1965 and together they were blessed with 4 children and 43 years of marriage until his death in 2008. Helen enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, traveling, playing games and some good country music. She was a hellcat. A vivacious, caring, fun, and lest we forget a strong-willed woman with a loving heart. She will be deeply missed.
Helen is survived by: her children, Alfred (Barb) Johnson, Mary Johnson, Patty (Joe) Bellah, and Wallace (Thelma) Johnson; grandchildren, Adam, Holli, James (Dawn), Joe, Jordan, Brett, Tori, Derrick, Ashley, Kyle, and Nick; 20 great grandchildren with one more on the way; sisters, Francis Wilkinson and Becky (Rod) Puehler; several nieces and nephews; and close friend, Ellie Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; brothers, Bill and Jack; sisters, Betty, Emma, Estelle, and Mary; son-in-law, Joe Gonzalez; and brother-in-law Darrold Wilkinson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens 2188 Remembrance Dr. Muskegon. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 E Keating Avenue Muskegon.
