Jacob Alan Moureau

Jake was a Drywall Finisher at Tim Anderson Drywall for 25 years and took pride in his work. Jake enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially dirt bikes, a love he shared with his Dad and siblings. Unless you were in his inner circle, most people were unaware of how intelligent Jake truly was, in contrast to the irreverent t-shirts he wore. One of his favorite things was leaving the remnants of a burnout in your driveway or roadway as he was leaving.

Survivors include his mother, Maureen Wierema (Mike Jancek), Jake’s two children, Jacob, Jr. and Mia, who he loved dearly, his brothers and closest friends, Hunter Moureau (Andrea) and Rob Carroll, his sister Shannon (Derek) Sliter, and step siblings Evan and April, along with many nieces and nephews, his special cousins Chris and Dale and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, his maternal grandmother, and close friends.

Preceded in death by his father and step mother, Larry and Roberta (Bert) Moureau, step-father, Nick Wierema. paternal grandparents. maternal grandfather, and a paternal aunt and uncle, all of which were a big part of his life.

A Celebration of Life open house will take place from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at EverRest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 E Keating Avenue. In keeping with what Jake would want please come in casual attire.
