McMillan, Jane Berggren 6/16/1926 - 12/16/2016 Muskegon Jane Berggren McMillan, age 90, died in Muskegon on December 16, 2016 surrounded by family. She was a charter and lifetime member of the North Muskegon Don Rea VFW Post #8846. Jane loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and extended family at the Sanctuary of the Oaks. She took great pride in being a homemaker and always made family her top priority. She was an excellent cook who often took requests from family for their favorite meals. Jane's positive outlook on life, as well as the kiss she gave with every greeting, made an impact on so many and won't be soon forgotten. She is survived by: a daughter, Pat (Ray) Swanson, a son Ralph (Cheryl) Berggren, four grandchildren, Mike, Dana, Erin and Jeff, five great grandchildren, Bailey, Kylie, Addie, Brandon and A.J., and a brother, Bernard (Jackie) Sobish. Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Berggren, Sr., her second husband, Robert McMillan, parents Barney and Cecelia as well as five brothers and sisters. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, located at 1110 Dystra Rd. North Muskegon. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m prior to the service. Please join us to celebrate Jane's life and share your memories of her with loved ones.
