Beloved Mother, Mother - in - Law, Sister and Friend. Joan Marie Watkins passed away on July 25, 2019 at the Poppen House in Fruitport, Mich. Joan was born in Reed City, Mich. on September 26, 1947. She married Howard Watkins who preceded her in death on July 30, 2001.Joan enjoyed bingo and playing cards with friends. Mostly she enjoyed being with her son, Todd, on family outings and cook outs. Joan had a special place in her heart for all animals. She especially adored her pug, Shiloh, who was her constant companion.For all who knew her, she will be forever in our hearts. Memorial donations in Joan's name may be directed to the Muskegon Humane Society.
