John Edward Weathers

He was born to James and Theresa Weathers on March 21, 1946, in Muskegon, Michigan. John married Jacqueline Lea Wacker in 1964 and they happily raised their three children. John was a very loving and caring father and husband. Aside from spending time with his family, John enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycle. He loved country music, singing karaoke and enjoying his beer by a campfire. John was a bit stubborn, but loved to make people smile. He would often wear his monkey shirt just to make people laugh.

John is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Jackie Lea, and his three children; Jodi Weathers, Jill Ferguson, and Jared Weathers. He is also survived by two brothers Jim and Jean Weathers, seven grandchildren, and fourteen grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.

The funeral service will be held with Pastor Jeff at Ever Rest Funeral Home, located at 1783 East Keating Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442. Please join us in celebrating his life on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 12 noon.

Visitation will start one hour prior to service and the burial will be immediately following at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
