Joseph E. Fowler, age 78, died Friday, November 18, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born July 6, 1938 in Sandusky, Ohio. On March 10, 1973 in Muskegon, he married Anna Olson and they were married 43 years.
Joseph enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, car races, hunting and was an excavator and general contractor for many years.
In addition to his wife Anna, he is survived by five children, Keith Fowler, Scott (Sue) Fowler, Cindy (Scott) Haan, Todd (Annette) Fowler and Brian (Tammy) Fowler, ten grandchildren, Nicole (Nelson), Michelle, Krystal (Andrew), Steven (Joanne), Ashleigh, Tanner, Lauren, Logan, Austin and Abigail, three great- grandchildren, Jack, Sean and Amy, six siblings, Eloda Dorn, Nora Houston, Janet Jones, Martha Hicks, Robert (Sheryl) Fowler and Keitha Loomis and many nieces and nephews and a lot of special friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Clara (Kempton) Fowler and two brothers, Thomas and Francis Fowler.
There will be private family funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
