Kenneth J. Cain, Jr., age 47 of Muskegon, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 after a brief illness. Kenny was born in Muskegon on September 30, 1966 to parents Kenneth and Alma (Lovett) Cain. He was employed at Fleet Engineers for 28 years. Kenny was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions. Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Alma Cain-Johnson of Muskegon, MI; sisters: Cindy Cain of Memphis, TN, Barb Durham of Muskegon, MI, and Pam DeWeerdt (Steven Sherwood) of Muskegon, MI; several nieces and nephews; many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth J. Cain, and nephew, Richard L. Durham III. A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2:00-4:00pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon). Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org) in honor of Kenny’s nephew, Richie.
