Kenneth Jack Willard

Born on January 8, 1949, in Muskegon, Michigan, Kenneth was the son of Frank Edward Willard and Leona Carey. He married Sheryl Captain, and together they built a beautiful family that he cherished deeply.

Kenneth dedicated 18 years of his career to CWC and Quality Tool, excelling in molding and welding. He was also a skilled truck driver, passionate about his work and always ready to lend a helping hand. A true car enthusiast, he loved fast and sports cars, relished car rides, and spent countless hours working on his vehicles. His extensive collection of tools was a testament to his dedication and passion.

A kind-hearted soul, Kenneth was known for his generosity and willingness to support not only his grandchildren but also his friends. He offered invaluable advice and had a knack for making everyone feel cared for. His infectious spirit and big heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife, Sheryl Willard; children Wendy Sue Salazar, Julie Hall, Jillian A. Romero, Shawn Hall, Delorce Captain, Deanna Hoogerhyde, Tim Hoogerhyde, Tosha Captain, Becky Captain, Kendrick Captain, Roxanne Willard; and a blessing of 41 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Reed, Darlene Baber, and Deborah Morgan, and his brother, Roger Willard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leona and Frank Willard; son Kenneth Willard; Billy Captain; grandchildren Mackenzie Captain and Dustin Captain; sister Jane, Marvin, and Frank Willard; sister Sandra Willard; and parents-in-law Delores and Benny Captain.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 11 AM, officiated by pastor Carlos Ramos with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Muskegon, Michigan.

Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering love, generosity, and the countless lives he touched. He will be missed dearly.
