LeRoy A. Dennison age 85 passed away on May 3, 2011. He was born to the late Ernest & Lillian (Koehler) Dennison on April 27, 1926. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Beverly; three children, William (Judith) Dennison, David Dennison, and Patrick (Susan) Dennison; six grandchildren, Erica Eerbeek, Ryan Dennison, Dawn (Tracy) Yager, Nathaniel and Gabriel Dennison, Rachael (Michael) Vivian; 10 great-grandchildren Cassie and Jeremy Johnivan, Logan, Sawyer and Noelle Eerbeek, Collin and Lea Yager, Elyse, Ashley and Shelby Vivian; a brother, Ernest (Carol) Dennison. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Robin Dennison, and two great grandchildren Angelica Eerbeek & Dustin Johnivan, along with five siblings. He was an aircraft mechanic for 38 years, who enjoyed golfing, playing music, hunting and fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Fruitland Covenant Church, 4283 N. Weber Road, Whitehall, on June 4th at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice or Fruitland Covenant Church.
