Marlene Gregersen

Marlene Carole (Wackernagel) Gregersen was born on January 20, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter R Wackernagel and Esther V (Sherman) Wackernagel. She passed January 16, 2022. She leaves behind her daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Elias, Debra (William) Baerman and Carole (Lanny) Landale. Her son Walter James (Jim) Gregersen. Jim was a great help to her and our father Rodger W Gregersen before they passed. Much appreciation to Jim from our entire family for his devotion to them. Marlene is also survived by 10 Grand children, 11 great Grand children and 4 great great grand children, her brother John Wackernagel and her sister Geraldine (Charles) Mosely, many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was a life member of St James Catholic Church in Montague, Michigan. She was active for many years in the alter guild, and as a eucharistic minister. She loved golfing and traveling, especially to her home in Anderson, South Carolina. Throughout her life she never lost her fun sense of humor. A celebration of life will be held at St. James Catholic church for her and our father this spring. Date to be announced later.
