Mary Erickson

Mary married Herman Erickson on March 13, 1954 and the couple spent many wonderful years together. She was a member at Holton United Methodist Church for many years. Mary had many interests throughout her life, but her greatest passion was baking. You could always find Mary in the kitchen cooking up delicious treats. Her specialties were cookies and various breads. She would spend a lot of her free time outside working on her farm. When she wasn’t cooking or outdoors, you could often find her crocheting pot holders. Mary was a very strong, loving, and caring woman. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by: husband, Herman Erickson; parents, Earl and Mae Dyer; and brother, Fred Dyer.

Mary is survived by: children, Roy Erickson, Mitchell (Lisa) Erickson, Kathleen (Gary) Olsen, and Karen (Brian) Thurston; grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle), Nick (Angela), Andrew (Alicia), Carrie (Shawn), Heather (Jason), Jillian, Cole, Kyle, and Zachery; great grandchildren, Izzy, Iven, Cade, Brittany, Robert, Bo, Elyse, and Ethan; great great grandchildren, Zoey, Jozlyn, and Keaton; siblings, Louise Ferguson, Ed Dyer, and Tom Dyer; as well as sister-in-law, Jeri Dyer.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
