Michael D. Blevins, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 23, 2015. He was born in Muskegon on December 18, 1958 to parents Thomas and Victoria (Johnson) Blevins. Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a NASCAR, Michigan Wolverines, and Detroit Red Wings fan. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Chris (Hawrysz) Blevins; daughters: Amanda Blevins, and Ashley Blevins; brothers: Thomas (Penny) Blevins, and Patrick Blevins; sister, Julia Blevins; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, and brother, William Blevins. A gathering with the family will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon) from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
