Michael John Welkoske

Mike started his own landscaping company. What started as him and one push mower turned into "American Landscaping" which he owned and operated for his entire working career. Mike was a handworker and was all about his business. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Mike was a loving, active, and forgiving man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by: his son, Michael J. Welkoske Jr.; parents, John and Evelyn Welkoske; sister, Susan Hill; brother, John Welkoske; and nephew, Robert Mason.

Mike is survived by: sister, Michelle (Steve) Hawkins; brother, Craig Gerhardstein; long-time girlfriend, Shelli Pfenning; brother-in-law, Ron Hill; special nephew, Ronald Hill Jr.; special nieces, Sherry (Mike Blum) Hill, and Krista Welkoske; special great nephew, Jarred Hill; as well as many other nieces and nephews; friend and 'brother', Anthony "Tony" Thornton; and special friend, Jared Hurlburt.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Service details will be posted once they are made available.
