

Patsy was born on April 5, 1944, in Greenville, Kentucky, to Oliver Sam and Lizzie (Laster) Snyder. She lived in Norton Shores, Michigan, where she created many cherished memories.
Patsy was an extraordinary woman whose love and care radiated through her family, embodying the essence of nurturing. Her greatest joy was found in uplifting her children's happiness. With a passion for cooking, she infused warmth into every meal, creating a comforting haven. Daisies, her birth flower, symbolized her vibrant spirit. In her free time, she cherished treasure hunting at yard sales and estate sales, always on the lookout for hidden gems that reflected her adventurous heart. In her heart,
Patsy leaves behind her devoted children: Tina (Ruben) Flores, Teresa (Randy) Weihl, Tara (John) Helms, Patricia (Jon Jon) Kohanski, Keith (Betty) Bird, Gerold (Jerri) Bird, Theresa (Bob) Markwort, and Carol (Mike) Rash; as well as, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. She is also survived by her beloved siblings Melbajean, Norma Lee, as well as, well as her special friend, Ronald Burghduf; father of her children along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Patsy is now reunited with her parents; Oliver (Lizzie) Snyder and her husband, Gerald Bird and her brother Joseph Snyder, finding eternal peace.
Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, located at 15164 Juniper Drive, Marne, Michigan, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 3:30 PM. This will be followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at St. Mary's Hall, also at 15164 Juniper Drive, Marne, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society or any Animal Shelter.
Her kindness, warmth, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
