Richard Dean Houtman

Throughout his life, Richard found joy in exploring a wide range of jobs, always eager to acquire new skills and experiences across various fields. He possessed a kind and nurturing spirit, always ready to lend a listening ear and offer thoughtful advice to his family and friends.

Every Tuesday, Richard would gather with a close-knit group of friends to engage in heartfelt discussions and collaborative car projects. His passion for automobiles was evident, and he took immense pride in his work, generously sharing valuable tips and insights on parts and techniques for his latest endeavors.

Richard was also a devoted son, providing loving care for his mother until her passing. He ensured she had everything she needed, taking her on gentle walks and attending to her every need with unwavering love and dedication. His compassion for her well-being reflected the depth of his character and the love he had for those close to him.

He will be deeply missed by his brother, Timothy, his nephew, Aaron Houtman, and numerous extended family and friends.

Richard is reunited with his parents and other loved ones who have passed before him.

Cremation has taken place, and a gathering will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate the cherished life that has touched us all.
