Richard R. Jobe, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Richard enjoyed wood working and even owned Dick’s Hobby Shop in his younger years. Other hobbies also included fishing and all types of sports. Richard served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Iowa during the Korean War. He was much loved by his family at First Lutheran Church. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Peggy Jobe; daughter, Susan; son, Scott; two grandchildren: Korey and Kaitlyn; sister, Laverne Williams; brother, Steve Jobe; sister and brother in law, Sally and Jim Carstens; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd., Muskegon) on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00am with Pastor Bill Uetricht. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church.
