Robert was born on June 16, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Derial and Hazel (Smith) Hancock. He later married the love of his life, Diana Hancock, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years.
Robert worked at Frigidaire, building refrigerators for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a hardworking, dedicated man who took pride in everything he did. A true outdoorsman, Robert loved camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. Above all else, he treasured time with his family. They cherished every moment together and created a lifetime of loving memories. Robert was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and was known for his humor, toughness, and zest for life.
Robert leaves behind, with broken hearts, his wife Diana; his children Pam Anderson, Danny Hancock, Lanny Hancock, Rick (Deanna) Robinson, Brandon Hancock, Brock Hancock, and Ginger (Matthew) Neely; his sisters Bonnie (A.J.) Blonk and Judy Godfrey; countless nieces and nephews; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will always remember him. He was loved by many.
Robert is reunited in heaven with his parents Derial and Hazel Hancock, his son Jerry, and his brothers Butch, James, and Kenneth Hancock.
Robert lived a full, beautiful life, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
