Susan Gail Merz, age 63 of Muskegon, MI passed away at her home on November 15th, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Laird, and is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Laird; sons, Kevin and Justin Wheeler; and her sister, Deborah True. She enjoyed a sixteen-year career with her wonderful co-workers at Langlois in Roosevelt Park. Sue was a compassionate, fun loving woman who always put other’s needs before her own. Her enormous personality, wealth of selflessness and friendly smile will be sorely missed by all. A service will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E Keating Avenue, Muskegon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Sue requested that canned goods be brought to the post service reception.
