Terry Richard Hellman, 1/2/1945 - 10/27/2018, has completed his mission on Earth and is now in the loving arms of God. He will be missed, but the struggle of life is gone; he will continue to guide us through what he has taught us while he was here. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Terry was born and raised in Norton Shores, MI to Helege Reynold Hellman & Hallie Verda (Greeno) Hellman. Terry graduated from Muskegon Heights High school and went into the Navy during Vietnam. He served on the USS MIDWAY as a Machinist Mate 2nd class. Terry provided for his family as a sheet metal layout person and maintenance person. Terry’s pastimes included bingo, bowling, camping, hunting & fishing, and most of all spending it with his family and friends. He had 2 sisters and 1 brother, Shirley (Harry) Scarbrough, Sandy (Bob) Stibitz, and Gordon Hellman; Sandy is the only surviving sibling. On June 1st, 1964 Terry married his soulmate Nancy Hackney. They have 3 children, Scott (Barbi) Hellman, Chris Hellman, and Wendie (Bob) Harp. They also have 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Terry and Nancy's joy is their family above all. We will miss him greatly. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2-4 PM with a honor service to follow at 4 PM at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, Muskegon, MI.
